Studio

We would rather draw it twice than build it wrong once

Cypress & Stone Pools is a design-build studio in Tampa. We are not a franchise, we do not sell leads to anyone, and the person who draws your yard is on site the week the steel goes in.

How we got here

This studio started because of a pattern we kept seeing on remodels. We would chip out a fifteen-year-old pool and find the same three mistakes, and every one of them had been made on paper before anyone touched a shovel.

A shell shaped by whatever was easiest to shoot rather than by the yard. Hydraulics sized for a catalogue pool instead of this one. A deck poured straight onto uncompacted fill, cracking in its third summer. None of it was bad workmanship. It was all bad drawing.

So we put the effort at the front. A real survey, a design you can walk through before you commit, engineering on every build, and a schedule published on day one. It makes us slower to get started than most and it is the reason our builds finish when we said they would.

07How we work

Four things we do not flex on

Close-up of a grid of rusted steel reinforcing bars tied together at their intersections

One crew, not a chain of subcontractors

The people who dig your pool are the people who finish it. No handoff between four companies who have never met, each blaming the last.

The 3D design comes before the contract

You walk through the yard in a headset or on a screen and change what you do not like while changing it is still free.

Wet concrete being pumped through a black hose into an excavated foundation pit, with bundled steel reinforcing bars on the ground nearby and a worker's boots at the edge

One schedule, published and updated

You get the stage list with dates and see it move. When the county holds a permit, you hear it from us before you notice it yourself.

We stay until the water is right

A new interior finish needs weeks of brushing and balancing. Most builders hand you a bucket. We keep coming back until it holds on its own.

Send the address and a photo of the back of the house. That is enough for us to tell you whether what you have in mind is realistic before anyone drives anywhere.
